Life Group Descriptions

Body & Soul

A beloved Wednesday evening tradition at All Saints’, Body & Soul is a gathering that feeds both the mind and spirit. Designed to welcome parishioners of all ages, the evening starts with age-appropriate lessons ranging from children’s activities to adult discussions on faith and theology. Following these sessions, everyone comes together for a communal meal, fostering a sense of family and connection. This program is perfect for midweek spiritual renewal, providing both learning and fellowship opportunities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Episcopal Church Women (ECW)

ECW at All Saints’ is a dynamic and supportive group for the women of the parish. With a mission focused on fellowship, service, and spiritual growth, the ECW organizes a range of activities that include outreach initiatives, social gatherings, and volunteer opportunities. Whether meeting at the church or in members’ homes, ECW fosters a sense of community while encouraging women to grow in their faith and service to others. The group’s charitable work extends into the local community, embodying the church’s commitment to service.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild plays a crucial role in ensuring the reverence and beauty of each worship service. Members of this ministry are entrusted with the care and preparation of all items used in the liturgy, including altar linens, chalices, candles, and vestments. They work behind the scenes, ensuring that every detail is attended to, creating a sacred space for worship. The Altar Guild serves with dedication and humility, ensuring that the worship experience at All Saints’ is both spiritually enriching and aesthetically beautiful.

ECW Movie Club

The ECW Movie Club is a monthly gathering where members of the parish and friends come together to watch and discuss films. The selected movies often explore themes that provoke thought, reflection, and conversation. Open to all, this club provides a relaxed environment for film enthusiasts to share their perspectives while enjoying fellowship. Whether you’re a casual moviegoer or a film buff, this club offers an opportunity for meaningful dialogue around storytelling and its impact on our understanding of the world.

ECW Book Club

All Saints’ ECW Book Club gathers once a month for lively discussions on a variety of books, ranging from contemporary fiction to spiritual classics. The group is open to both members and friends of the church, fostering an inclusive and warm atmosphere for those who love to read. The discussions are both insightful and enriching, allowing participants to share their thoughts on literature while also deepening their spiritual understanding. It’s a wonderful way to engage with others intellectually and spiritually.

Knitting Guild

The Knitting Guild at All Saints’ combines creativity with compassion. Meeting weekly, members of this group gather to knit blankets and shawls that are given to newborns, the sick, and those in need of comfort. The handmade items are not only practical gifts but also serve as tangible expressions of love and care from the church community. Whether experienced or new to knitting, all are welcome to join, creating a supportive environment where members share both their skills and fellowship with one another. Through their work, the Knitting Guild brings warmth and support to those facing life’s challenges.

Episcopal Youth

The Episcopal Youth group at All Saints’ welcomes students from grades 6-12 to engage in a faith-centered community. It provides opportunities for spiritual growth through weekly gatherings, where youth participate in Bible study, prayer, and worship. The group also offers social activities and mission projects to strengthen fellowship and service to others. Through these experiences, the youth develop a deeper understanding of their faith and create meaningful friendships that carry into adulthood.
